1956.....a zip gun in .22 caliber from a local gang member in the projects for $12 bucks! And I was only 13 years old! Legally, a Remington 870 20 gauge pump shotgun in 1969. I called it my "equalizer"! My first legal handgun I purchased [at a gunshow in 1993] was after I moved to Arizona. The Ruger P94DC in the 9mm flavor. I just sold it last May 2009 and miss it.

My first purchased firearm was a Glock. I liked it, but there came a time it had to go. I have a SW99OL now that is about 2% Unobtanium. Nice weapon system.

The first new gun that I ever brought was a Taurus Trecker 4 inch 7 shot .357. I still have it and shoot it about once every two or three months the primary reason for the gun was home defense. My daddy always told me you can't go wrong with a 4 inch .357 and a pump shotgun.

lorkin 380. I just wanted something that would be great for if someone came in the house. but i realized that it was a two shot wonder. i ended up selling it to the pawn shop for 60 bucks. it was the biggest waste of money i ever had

Boy do I miss my Taurus .357. I had one similar, but I was stolen from my vehicle. Back in them days I kept it in the car and my Jennings .380 in the house. Yeah, I know
