I have been very interested in the Model 8 since I heard about it last year. Ever since then I have not been able to get my hands on 1 to see what I think. The store I know that has them had this version in stock which had a flat rail that I was interested in to use with flip up sites and after further thinking and having much military experience with DI M4's I went with this. Plus with the price difference I can get an optic almost for the same price as the piston.
