If I have to wear a heavy coat due to weather, I wear a BUG. Pocket holster in outside pocket of coat. The logic is my primary is too far under layers to access quickly. I don't want to be fumbling with zippers and shirts, etc. Sometimes its a j frame 38 and other times, its a subcompact Glock.
The same goes for long car rides. Long > 40mi. One in the crevice between driver's seat and center console in pocket holster. I don't believe in mouse guns but I'd probably carry a BUG more often if I invested in one.

I normally carry my Glock 22 on my hip and a .38 revolver in my pocket

I carried a Kel-Tec PF9 in an ankle holster for a while but it just didn't feel secure. My main carry is a G36 (or 26 on occasion) with 2-3 mags so I have less of a need for a BUG lately.

Thanks for all the replies!!!
I've been debating the BUG issue. If I was going to go this route, I would pocket carry my LCR and IWB the .45C. But my only problem would be everything (BUG & main carry) would be all on my right side. I think that would be a little too much…I might just tip over (LOL)!!
For now I'll just tote the .45 (8+1) and a reload. I hope 17 rounds would be enough to get me out of the pickle!?!

I don't carry a BUG gun but I always carry my glock on my person and always have a .357 in the truck, If I take the wife's car then I juts take a different .357 with me. I usually like at least a 6 or 7 shot .357
