On July 1, Va passed a new law letting CCW permit owners carry into restaurants as long as they dont drink alcohol.Hmm wonder who will follow this law because who is really going to know who is carrying?

I thought VA law always allowed for carry into restaturants so long as you opened carried while inside. Is this not correct??

I thought it had to be carried openly. The new law should allow you to carry concealed.

true, the old law let you open carry in a food establishment that serve alcohol and you could drink but now you can CC but you cannot drink.I believe that it is a class 2 misdemeaner to CC in a restaurant and drink alcohol.I still say who is going to know if you are CCing and want to drink liquer?
