Love this little gun!

I must eat my words however about not adding a grip extension.
I had a spare Glock brand " +2" baseplate I added to the 2nd magazine for kicks. I did this right before I took it to the range today to pop it's cherry so to speak.

Wow, this thing is a beast with the standard magazine! I switched to the mag with the "+" baseplate, and it was a night and day difference. No contest, it was WAY more comfortable to shoot, and MUCH more controllable.

Luckily, it still fits in my jean pocket with the extended baseplate, not to mention I now have 13 rounds on tap instead of 11. It's amazing how much of a difference having that little pinky finger properly supported makes. The recoil is a non issue with the "+" baseplate. Quite the contrast to shooting without it.

Congrats!

I have two Glock 27s. I prefer subcompact Glocks with a GAP extension and my pinky underneath. I am more accurate without my pinky supporting. :)

Yes it's very easy/fun to shoot, as long as you use some sort of grip extension.

Without it, I'd compare it to firing a air weight snub nose .38 with +p ammo.

watch it with those extended mags. if you don't slap check the mag before putting it in it will cause a double feed.

When you use the phrase "slap check", I assume you mean smacking the bottom of the magazine to make sure it's securly locked into place?

Very nice... I believe that the Glock has done it the best way with the 17, 19, & 26 and 34 so many choices and the ability to use the larger mags across the board...

Congrats!!!

Shug..Shug, you don't like Glocks I see....chuckle-chuckle-chuckle! Dats okay Bro...I had the same feeling a couple of years ago until I got the G21SF flavor. I shot the 21 several times at my local range last summer and even used it in a GSSF match that was setup in the Tucson Arizona community back in October. I sold the 21SF last December but before this year is over and with the member discount certificate they [GSSF] gave me, I am almost certain to get another Glock to have in the crib.

To the BGO member with the new 26...the BEST of luck with it and may it serve you well in the coming months and years!!
