I was playing with my guns the other day and it is interesting because every gun I own is Black! I need to get some diversity in my safe!

There is nothing wrong with having an all black collection. I personally choose to have all black weapons. I feel that if i were to have to draw my weapon at night i would rather have the element of surprise on my side. No one wants to have a glint shine off their shinny slide alert the BG that you have a gun.

I wouldn't worry about a BG seeing the shiny slide of a stainless gun. The only time it should be out the holster is when it is about the sound off. If you are lucky, that muzzle flash will be all he sees.

Yeah, I've had plenty of opportunity to by a stainless version, but when it came time to purchase, I choked and went black. Stainless looks sweet, but like what's already been said, you could be giving up a tactical advantage. Oh well...maybe one day.

I have black Glocks, but none of my long guns are all black. I generally prefer the classic look of wood and blued steel. Also, it's a scientific fact that the wood and blued steel tend to make a gun shoot more accurately for some reason.

Go for a lever action next!

my wife saw some US MArshals movie where this lady saved the day with a lever action and every since then she has wanted one. I would not mind a 30-30 or a .44 mag lever action.

Yep I really need to get a 1911 but if I did it would be the black one. Maybe I am just a gun racist.

I never really thought about it, but all my guns are black not including a few revolvers

if it's not tatical it's not practical....I am, diversify my collection this year, like many of you all my weapons are black or blue steel. However, this year I'm getting either my AR or G3 white and the other Brown.

I love my stainless 686 and will be carrying it fromo time to time now that I have a holster for it. Bought it to be my backpacking gun, it has been serving time as my night stand and 'around the house' carry gun.

I want all of my guns to be black... and they were until I puchased my first 1911 and the only reason I have this one is because I couldn't afford the all black 1911.

Most of my handguns are black but I do have a couple with the stainless slide. At first I too was worried about the stainless being seen in the dark but I don't really worry about that nymore, besides my carry weapons are all black.

my only one now is SS. but i am looking at the sr9c for cc and that will probably be all black.i take that back... whichever shop i find that has one in stock im taking it no matter the color.

Your wife wants a gun? What are you waiting for?

I plan to diversify a little more myself.
